I have received a communication that my account is going to be dormant. What should I do?

If your trading account has had no trades or no KYC updates for 24 consecutive months, it will be marked as dormant to help prevent misuse. We send you a prior notification so you can take the necessary action to keep your account active.

To prevent your account from becoming dormant, you can:

• Place a trade in any segment, of any value.
• Place a successful mutual fund order.
• Place successful IPO application or invest in Bonds, SGB, NCDs, etc.
• Update your KYC details if there is a change in your registered email ID, mobile number, or address.

You will need to complete Re-KYC to reactivate your account after your account becomes dormant.
