What is a PINS/PIS account?
A Portfolio Investment Scheme (PINS/PIS) account is an account designated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) that enables NRIs to invest in Indian equity shares on a repatriation basis through recognized stock exchanges.
Note:
- An NRE trading account with Kotak Neo must be linked to a PINS account for equity delivery transactions.
- PINS accounts can currently be opened only with our partner banks: Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, and Axis Bank.
