Saffron Industries Company background

Founded in: 1993
Saffron Industries Limited was erstwhile incorporated as Madhya Desh Papers Limited in 1993. The Company changed the name from Madhya Desh Papers Limited to Saffron Industries Limited effective from June 10, 2011. Promoted by the Maheshwari family, the Company initially, was engaged in manufacture of Newsprint and Uncoated papers. The Plant located in Nagpur District of Maharashtra set up with an installed capacity of 15180 TPA, has increased and have an installed capacity of 21780 Tones per annum. A Cogeneration Power plant commissioned on December 15, 2001 for providing low cost uninterrupted power and steam to the Paper Plant.In 2004, the Company implemented and commissioned its upgradation facilities comprising of Hot Dispersion and two stage Deinking facility.The Company has engaged in the business of real estate development, including residential, commercial, and mixeduse projects during the year 2025.
