The company is headquartered at the Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurgaon, with its registered office in Mohali, Punjab. It operates 36 healthcare facilities across India, Dubai, and Sri Lanka, offering a range of medical services. Fortis is listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: 532843) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE: FORTISEQ), and is backed by Malaysia’s IHH Healthcare.

Fortis Healthcare operates through three primary segments: hospitals, diagnostics, and pharmacies. The hospital division provides multi-specialty tertiary and quaternary care services including cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, neurology, and more. The diagnostics arm, Agilus Diagnostics, offers pathology and imaging services through a broad network. Its pharmacy business supports the hospital ecosystem and generates additional retail revenue. The company earns primarily through inpatient and outpatient services, diagnostics, pharmacy sales, and day-care procedures.
