India's consumer appliance market is expected to benefit from rising household incomes, growing digital adoption and increasing demand for energy-efficient, technology-led products. The shift towards premium appliances is also being supported by higher spending power, expanding Tier 2+ cities and greater consumer focus on performance, convenience and product quality. Government initiatives such as the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) star labelling scheme, Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for white goods, Bureau of Industry Standards (BIS) certification and Make in India are further supporting energy efficiency and domestic manufacturing.

Within this, the fans market was valued at approximately ₹214 billion in FY26 and is projected to reach ₹301-372 billion by FY31P, implying a CAGR of 7-12%. The next-generation Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) fan segment is expected to grow faster, with penetration projected to increase from around 17% in FY26 to 38-41% by FY31P.
