GHCL Textiles Limited was incorporated on June 17, 2020. The Company is a 100% subsidiary of GHCL Limited (Holding Company). In 202223, the Spinning Division of GHCL Limited was demerged into the Company as a going concern through the Scheme of Arrangement effective from April 1, 2023. As a consideration for the Demerger, the Company issued Equity Shares on April 12, 2023, to the shareholders of GHCL Limited in a Swap Ratio of 1:1 (i.e., One share of Rs. 2 each will be issued by the Company for every one share of Rs. 10 each held in Demerged company). 9,55,85,786 Equity Shares were listed effective on June 12, 2023.The Company started its business operation w.e.f. April 1, 2023 and is presently engaged as Indias prominent yarn manufacturers and exporters. Manufacturing operations are located at Paravai, Madurai Manaparai, Tiruchirapalli, in the state of Tamil Nadu. Spinning facilities are modern and wellcapitalised, comprising 2.25 lakh ring spindles, 3,320 rotors, 5,760 TFO spindles, 5 Airjet Spinning machines, and 15 knittingmachines. Underpinning its operations is a significant renewable energy portfolio of 65 MW of wind and solar capacity in Tamil Nadu.In addition to this, the Company manufacture speciality yarns including GIZA, SUPIMA, Australian, CmiA, Tencel, Viscose, and rPET Yarn, as well as woven and knitted fabric for both domestic and international markets. During the year 2026, the Company has commissioned 25,000 new spindles, 15 knitting machines, and 3 MW of additional green energy capacity.

As of Jun '26, GHCL Textiles’s market capitalisation stood at ₹1,120.74 crores. Shareholding as of Jun '26 shows promoters holding 19.2%, with FIIs at 13.2%, DIIs at 1.1%, and public at 66.5%.
