Subsequently, the Company was converted into a Public Limited company and the name of the Company was changed to Galaxy Surfactants Limited on March 13, 1995. Company is a globally recognized leader in performance surfactants and specialty care ingredients, serving the home and personal care industry across key markets. The diversified portfolio cover performance surfactants, which form the core of cleansing and foaming applications, and specialty ingredients, engineered to deliver targeted and high value functionalities in formulations. Founded in 1980, the Company has built a strong global footprint, supplying over 215 products to more than 1,500 customers. With strategically located manufacturing facilities in India, Egypt, and the United States, Galaxy is well positioned with a resilient supply chain, enabling consistent delivery of quality, innovation, and customer centric solutions worldwide.From year 20002010, Galaxy Surfactants took a strategic step towards setting up a manufacturing facility in Egypt. The Companys third manufacturing unit started in Gujarats Jhagadia GIDC in year 2012.In FY 201920, a total of 11 patents were granted to Galaxy, of which 6 were granted in India, 3 in USA, and 2 in Brazil. In 201920, the Company commissioned its Mild Surfactants plant at Jhagadia, Gujarat. The US Plant (TRIK) was shifted to a new location, which not only increased the manufacturing capacity but also enhanced its warehousing capacity. The RD centre was redeveloped for disposal of equipment and undertake RD activities at the same time by focusing on multiple areas.In FY 202021, a total 6 patents were granted to Galaxy, of which 3 were granted in US, 1 each in India, China and Europe. The Company launched the Galaxy Hearthr Mix Pods range of products by introducing Laundry Pods during FY22. In January 2022, it commissioned operations at the Jhagadia Factory. In Financial Year 202122, a total of 3 patents were granted to Galaxy in India.In 2023, the Company commissioned brownfield expansion of multipurpose Specialty plant at Tarapur. It launched 2 products, Galseer Tresscon and GalMOL CCT during the year 2023.The Company introduced Galseer DermaGreen, a firstofitskind, prebiotic and 100% green oilsoluble cleanser and skincare ingredient in FY 2024. GalMOL Range of Emollients, which designed to provide superior hydration and a luxurious sensory experience also launched in 2024. The Company incorporated a new whollyowned subsidiary viz. Galaxy Specialties Europe B.V. in Netherlands in April, 2024.The Company set up 2 new whollyowned subsidiaries in Mexico and 1 in Europe in FY 2025.During the year 2026, Companyachieved ISCC PLUS certification for our manufacturing facilities at Taloja and Jhagadia, covering key products including Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES), Betaines, and Phenoxyethanol. Company has expanded the business covering the Beauty Wellness alongside its core Home and Personal Care focus.
