What happens if I do not pay the balance margin before settlement?
In case the balance margin due is not paid before the settlement due date, i.e. two trading days after the trade date, your position will be squared off and applicable penalty shall be levied by the exchange. This is applicable for “Prime” for Kotak NEO.
In case the balance margin due is not paid within two trading days, applicable penalty shall be levied to you by the exchange.
