Indian markets enter Wednesday after a broad rally on Tuesday that saw benchmarks rise over 2% amid strong sectoral participation and supportive global cues.

Bajaj Finance Ltd’s consolidated net profit was reported to reach ₹4,066 crore in Q3 FY26. This is a 6% decrease compared to last year. This dip is due to increased provisions and some one-time costs related to labour changes, which had an impact on earnings.

Adani Enterprises reported a consolidated PAT of ₹ 5,627 crore in Q3 FY26, which is almost a 97-fold YoY jump due to a one-time gain from a stake sale. Revenue rose by 8-9% YoY as compared to previous years to approximately ₹ 24,820 crore, with operating measures improving moderately.

Bharat Coking Coal Ltd’s Q3 revenue fell about 25% year-on-year, while the Coal India subsidiary reported a net loss of ₹23 crore, weighed down by lower sales and weaker demand. The results reflect pressure on earnings despite efforts to improve operations and output.

JPMorgan is finalising plans for a new index tracking local currency bonds from frontier markets, responding to rising investor demand for higher-yielding debt
