  • Capital expenditure.
  • General corporate purposes.

The Tarpaulin Industry is undergoing structural shifts driven by agri-logistics modernization, infrastructure expansion, sustainability imperatives, and substitution of low-quality imports. Between FY2026 and FY2033, the segment is expected to benefit from both cyclical demands linked to real estate and logistics, and secular demand levers tied to agricultural resilience and climate adaptation.

The Union Budget FY2025–26 allocated ₹11.21 lakh crore (3.1% of GDP) toward capital expenditure, sustaining the momentum of infrastructure creation. This directly expands downstream demand for polymer-based products such as tarpaulins, FIBCs, and HDPE/LDPE packaging used in agriculture, logistics, housing, and construction.

Shakti Polytarp is engaged in the business of manufacturing tarpaulin and other products including shade net. Their products have diverse applications across various industries including agriculture, construction, automotive, transportation & logistics and consumer goods. They offer end-to-end services, assisting clients in selecting the right type of tarpaulin for their applications while also providing design and customization options according to the intended use.

They are also engaged in the business of sale of granules. These granules serve as the raw material for producing tarpaulin through a process that includes melting, extrusion, weaving, and lamination. Their business primarily operates on a B2B (Business-to-Business) model, supplying tarpaulin and other products to various industries. A significant portion of their revenue is generated from bulk orders placed by businesses that require tarpaulins. Additionally, they cater to the B2C (Business-to-Consumer) segment as well, where they offer their products directly to end consumers. While their primary focus remains on B2B sales, the B2C segment contributes a smaller portion of their overall revenue.

  • In-house manufacturing facility.
  • Experienced and qualified management team.
  • Established client relationship.
  • Their inability or failure to manage and attract more clients for tarpaulin.
  • They are dependent on a limited number of customers for a significant portion of their revenues.
  • Any dispute with one or more of their top 10 suppliers who contribute a significant portion to their raw materials.
  • Extensive government regulation and the impact of plastics on the environment.
  • Majority of their revenues from operations are derived from the State of Madhya Pradesh.
