Roopa Screen IPO, an SME IPO, opens on Thursday, September 24, 2026 and closes on Monday, September 28, 2026. The allotment of shares will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

The listing of shares will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2026. The equity shares offered through the IPO are proposed to be listed on the BSE SME platform.

Roopa Screen IPO’s price band is set at ₹60 to ₹64 per share. The lot size for an application is 2,000 shares. The minimum amount of investment required by a retail individual investor is 2 lots (4,000 shares), amounting to ₹2,56,000, based on upper band price.

The offer consists entirely of a fresh issue component with no offer for sale (OFS) in the IPO. The fresh issue will include 27.90 lakh shares of ₹17.86 crore. There is no offer for sale in the IPO. The total number of shares and aggregate amount in the IPO are 30,00,000 shares aggregating up to ₹19.20 crore.

Roopa Screen has been in business for the last 13 years. The company manufactures rotary nickel screens which are used in rotary screen-printing machines. These are popular in the textile industry for continuous fabric printing. Apart from the manufacture of rotary nickel screens, Roopa Screen is also into the trading of nickel cathodes, a key input in the manufacture of nickel screens.

In India, the textile industry contributes to nearly 6% of GDP and about 15% to the IIP. India is the third largest textiles producer in the world with a 6% global market share. Rotary nickel screens play a key role in the textiles industry, as an integral part of fabric printing. The rotary screens enable high-speed and high-precision printing of intricate fabric patterns. The global market for rotary nickel screen is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.4% through 2030.

Indian rotary nickel screen market is expected to grow at 10.4% CAGR up to 2030. The big growth drivers are likely to be expansion of global textile demand, performance edge of rotary nickel screens, greater focus on aesthetics, and improvements in mesh accuracy. Apart from a growing market, rising demand for home textiles, and government support systems are also key factors.

Roopa Screen is engaged in the manufacture of rotary nickel screens, mainly for the textile industry. This enables continuous printing on fabrics. It supplies its products to over 200 customers across India, with key states being Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu. While textiles is the biggest market for rotary nickel screens, it also caters in a smaller way to sectors like chemicals, dyes, and engineering. It offers screen variants like Standard, Delta, Penta, Nova etc.

Its manufacturing operations are located at Sanand Taluka, in Gujarat. The company also operates godowns at Surat and a sales depot at Panipat. Its customer base is largely B2B, as it supplies directly to the textiles manufacturers. In terms of financial performance, the company has maintained robust PAT margins of 12.8%, return on equity (ROE) of 49.4%, and return on capital employed (ROCE) of 39.3%. Its focus currently is on expanding manufacturing and deepening geographical presence.

The company derives its revenues predominantly from the textile industry by supplying them rotary nickel screens used in continuous printing of fabric in textile sector. To hedge its input risks, the company also trades in nickel cathodes, a key input for the manufacture of rotary nickel screens.

Roopa Screen Total Income for FY26 was ₹51.32 crore, whereas in FY25 and FY24 it was ₹45.63 crore and ₹35.85 crore, respectively.

The Profit After Tax for FY26 was ₹6.48 crore, whereas in FY25 and FY25 it was ₹4.69 crore and ₹1.50 crore, respectively.

Their EBITDA for FY26 was ₹10.00 crore, whereas in FY25 and FY24 it was ₹8.13 crore and ₹4.24 crore, respectively.

In terms of the user industry, there is a substantial concentration on the textile industry. However, the demand is substantial, and only a small part of the total addressable market (TAM) has been tapped as of date. This opens up a huge potential for the company. Its in-house manufacturing facility also enables better control over costs and quality.

As of 31 March 2026, the company’s Total Income, Profit After Tax, and EBITDA were ₹51.32 crore, ₹6.48 crore, and ₹10.00 crore, respectively.
