Acme Universal Safezone 9 IPO’s price band is set at ₹65 to ₹71 per share. The lot size for an application is 1,600. The minimum amount of investment required by a retail investor is ₹2,27,200 (3,200 shares) based on the upper price.

Acme Universal Safezone 9 manufactures and supplies industrial safety footwear under the brand name ‘ACME’. Its products reach customers through direct institutional sales, regional distributors and dealers, and digital and e-commerce channels. Export sales are made to markets including the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and Israel.

  • Funding capital expenditure requirements for the installation of solar power plants.
  • Funding capital expenditure requirements towards installation of additional machinery.
  • Funding incremental working capital requirements of the company.
  • Funding inorganic growth through unidentified acquisitions and other strategic initiatives and general corporate purposes.

Safety footwear is a core category of Personal Protective Equipment in India. These shoes and boots protect workers from falling objects, sharp materials, slips, chemicals, and electrical hazards across manufacturing, construction, mining, logistics, and oil and gas. Agra, Kanpur, Chennai, and Ranipet are the main production hubs.

Exports have grown every year since FY 2021. India’s safety footwear exports rose from ₹647.75 crore in FY 2021 to ₹959.19 crore in FY 2025, a rise of nearly 48%. The UAE and France were the top export destinations in FY 2025.

Domestic demand rests on regulation and capital spending. The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code requires employers to supply PPE, including safety shoes, that conforms to BIS or equivalent international standards.

Acme Universal Safezone 9 makes industrial safety footwear under the ‘ACME’ brand.

The company offers 15 product lines across EVA-rubber, nitrile rubber, and PVC sole types. These lines address impact, penetration, electrical shock, anti-static, heat, fire, chemical, and slip hazards for construction, mining, oil and gas, automotive, and pharmaceutical users. Production runs across four facilities in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Sites are located at Gwalior and Banmore (District Morena) in Madhya Pradesh, and at Kanpur and Unnao in Uttar Pradesh.

Installed soling capacity was 43,15,000 units in FY 26, with 64.23% utilisation. The Company had 1,073 employees as of March 31, 2026, of whom 1,038 worked in operations and the rest across finance, HR, IT, marketing, and sales.

  • Four manufacturing facilities across Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh handle every production stage in-house, from leather cutting and upper stitching to sole injection, testing, and packaging.

  • The company’s 15 product lines across EVA-rubber, nitrile rubber, and PVC sole types comply with IS 15298, EN ISO 20345, ASTM F2413, and SEDEX SMETA standards.

  • Three Desma PU direct injection machines from Germany and Orisol automated stitching machines, linked to SAP S/4 HANA, keep sole density and stitch quality consistent across batches.

  • Export sales of ₹15.61 crore in FY 26 came from markets including the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Israel, and the Netherlands.

  • Channel-partner warehousing at more than 40 locations across India supports sales through direct institutional contracts, distributors and dealers, and e-commerce platforms.

  • An in-house R&D unit and product testing laboratory keep batch-wise records of tensile strength, flex resistance, compression, electrical properties, and sole bond strength.

  • The top 10 customers contributed 47.71% of revenue from operations in FY 26, so the loss of any major customer could cause a sharp fall in revenue.

  • PU compound prices track crude oil and there are no long-term fixed-price supply contracts, so input cost spikes could squeeze margins on fixed-price government rate contracts.

  • Any suspension or non-renewal of the BIS licence under IS 15298 would disqualify the Company from government tenders and cut revenue immediately.

  • Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha together contributed 56.21% of revenue from operations in FY 26, so weaker demand in these states would hit sales.

  • Short-term borrowings of ₹44.21 crore as of March 31, 2026 fund a working-capital-heavy model, and any credit shortfall could disrupt raw material purchases.
