How is NAV allocated basis cut off time?
The Net Asset Value (NAV) is computed by dividing the overall value of securities (including cash) in a mutual fund, minus its liabilities, by the total number of outstanding units. This gives the per-unit value of the fund.
Unlike stock prices that fluctuate throughout the day, mutual fund NAV is calculated only once at the end of each business day. Applicable NAV is subject to successful order & realization of funds (i.e., when the payment is successfully received).
Refer to the table below for updated cut-off timings and NAV applicability:
Liquid/Overnight Funds | UPI: 12:30 PM Netbanking : 1:00 PM | Previous day NAV |
Liquid/Overnight Funds | After 1:00 PM for Net-banking After 12:30 PM for UPI | Same day NAV |
All Other Funds | Up to 2:30 PM | Same day NAV |
All Other Funds | After 2:30 PM | Next business day NAV |
