Hindustan Unilever Q1 FY2026-27 Results: Net Profit Declines 3% To ₹2,673 Crore, Revenue Rises 10%

Hindustan Unilever Q1 FY2026-27 Results: Revenue from operations rose 10.05% year-on-year to ₹17,341 crore, while HUL said it recorded its highest underlying sales growth in 13 quarters despite a 3% decline in consolidated net profit.
Hindustan Unilever Ltd on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, reported its financial results for the April–June quarter (Q1 FY2026-27), posting its strongest underlying sales growth in more than three years as demand remained steady across key categories.
The FMCG major reported a consolidated net profit of ₹2,673 crore for the quarter, down 3% from ₹2,756 crore in the corresponding period last year. The company attributed the decline to the impact of a one-off tax credit recorded during the period. On a sequential basis, profit fell 10.7% from ₹2,992 crore in the March quarter.
Revenue from operations increased 10.05% year-on-year to ₹17,341 crore, compared with ₹15,757 crore a year earlier. Revenue from the sale of products rose 10.3% to ₹17,149 crore, while total turnover stood at ₹17,341 crore, up 10% from the year-ago period.
EBITDA rose 8% year-on-year to ₹3,947 crore. EBITDA margin stood at 23%, down 40 basis points from a year earlier but within the company's guided range. Exceptional items for the quarter included restructuring expenses of ₹115 crore, compared with ₹90 crore in Q1 FY26.
HUL said it recorded its highest growth in 13 quarters, with underlying sales growth (USG) of 10%, driven equally by volume growth and pricing.
HUL Q1 FY2026-27 Results- Segment-Wise Performance
Home Care remained the company's strongest-performing segment, delivering 14% USG, its highest growth in three years, supported by high-single-digit underlying volume growth (UVG). Fabric wash recorded double-digit USG, while household care also posted double-digit growth, aided by market development initiatives and product innovation.
Beauty and Wellbeing recorded 12% USG, driven by high-single-digit UVG. Premium skin care and premium hair care continued to perform well, helping the company strengthen its position across the category.
Personal Care delivered 4% USG, led by pricing as palm oil inflation persisted for a second consecutive year. Skin cleansing posted mid-single-digit growth, while bodywash maintained double-digit momentum and oral care registered mid-single-digit growth.
Foods reported 7% USG, supported by mid-single-digit UVG. Growth was led by Unilever Foods Solutions, mayonnaise and international sauces. During the quarter, HUL also expanded its premium portfolio with the relaunch of Bru Southern Trails Coffee and new variants under the Red Label Instant Tea and Kissan Chutney brands.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Priya Nair said the company delivered its highest underlying sales growth in 13 quarters, with growth supported equally by volume and pricing. She added that HUL continues to invest in market development, channel expansion and portfolio transformation while remaining focused on driving volume-led growth despite a dynamic operating environment.
Hindustan Unilever Share Price
Hindustan Unilever Limited shares were trading 4.35% lower at ₹2,080 on the NSE around 11:13 am on Tuesday after the company reported its June-quarter earnings. Earlier in the session, the stock fell as much as 5.14% to an intraday low of ₹2,062.70 as investors reacted to the results.
