Colgate-Palmolive India Q1 Results FY27: Revenue from operations increased 12% year-on-year to ₹1,591 crore, while net profit rose 7% to ₹343 crore in the June quarter. The company reported robust high-single-digit toothpaste volume growth and expanded gross margin by 110 basis points to 69.7%.

Colgate-Palmolive India Q1 Results FY27: Colgate-Palmolive India on Wednesday reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27) during market hours, with both revenue and profit increasing from a year ago as demand for its oral care products remained steady.

The FMCG company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹343 crore for the April-June quarter, up 7% from ₹321 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Revenue from operations rose 12% year-on-year to ₹1,591 crore, compared with ₹1,421 crore in the year-ago quarter, supported by growth across its oral care portfolio. The company said innovation remained a focus during the quarter with product launches across categories, while the toothpaste business recorded robust high-single-digit volume growth.

Operating performance also improved during the quarter. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 7% to ₹470 crore from ₹440 crore a year ago. EBITDA margin, however, narrowed to 29.52% from 30.94%, indicating that operating costs grew faster than earnings despite the increase in revenue.

The earnings were announced during market hours. Following the results, Colgate-Palmolive India shares traded higher. At around 2:00 pm IST, the stock was up 1.02% at ₹2,160 on the National Stock Exchange.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Prabha Narasimhan said the company delivered another quarter of broad-based growth, with the toothpaste portfolio continuing to outperform.

"Our toothpaste portfolio achieved robust high-single-digit volume growth, driven by stellar performance in premium toothpaste alongside sustained growth in our core portfolio," she said.

She added that Colgate-Palmolive India continued to benefit from cost-saving measures under its Funding the Growth programme, which helped maintain margins while allowing the company to step up investments in brand building and premiumisation.

Referring to the business outlook, Narasimhan said the company remains focused on expanding its science-backed product portfolio and will continue to invest in advertising to support growth. She added that geopolitical developments and fluctuations in commodity prices remain key external factors, with the company relying on cost efficiencies and calibrated pricing actions to manage input cost pressures.

The stock has gained more than 19% since the start of 2026 and is up around 9% over the past six months.

Colgate-Palmolive India touched a 52-week high of ₹2,504 on September 4, 2025, while its 52-week low of ₹1,782 was recorded on March 30, 2026. According to NSE data, the company's market capitalisation stood at ₹58,748.90 crore as of July 29, 2026.
