Karamtara Engineering Bags ₹1,199 Crore Orders Across Transmission, Renewable Energy Segments
Karamtara Engineering secures ₹1,199 crore in new orders across power transmission and renewable energy, strengthening its order book and revenue visibility.

Karamtara Engineering has secured new orders worth approximately ₹1,199 crore across the power transmission and renewable energy sectors. The company said the contracts would support revenue visibility over their execution period.

Karamtara Engineering has secured new orders worth approximately ₹1,199 crore across the transmission and renewable energy sectors, the company disclosed to the stock exchanges on October 27, 2026. The orders add to the engineering manufacturer’s order book as investment in electricity transmission infrastructure and renewable energy continues to create demand for specialised equipment.

The company said the new contracts reflect customer confidence in its manufacturing capabilities, quality standards and project execution. It expects the orders to contribute positively to revenue visibility over their execution period.

The newly secured orders span Karamtara Engineering’s transmission and renewable energy businesses. The company manufactures equipment and components used in power transmission networks and renewable energy projects.

Its product portfolio includes lattice towers for transmission lines, solar module mounting structures, solar tracker components, wind towers, fasteners and hardware fittings used in overhead transmission lines.

The company did not disclose a segment-wise value breakdown for the ₹1,199 crore of orders in the announcement. The total should therefore be treated as the combined value of the new awards, rather than attributed entirely to either transmission or renewable energy.

Karamtara Engineering serves customers in India and international markets. It operates manufacturing facilities in India and Italy and exports to more than 50 countries, according to the company’s announcement.

The order wins come as power transmission infrastructure remains important for connecting generation capacity to electricity demand centres, including renewable energy projects. Solar and wind installations require associated transmission equipment and engineered components to connect projects to the grid.

Joint managing director Rajiv Singh said the orders strengthen the company’s order book and reaffirm its position as a partner in India’s energy transition. He added that Karamtara would continue to focus on execution, sustainable growth and disciplined operations.

The ₹1,199 crore order announcement provides additional visibility into potential future business, but it does not represent revenue recognised immediately. The contribution to revenue and profitability will depend on project execution, delivery schedules, costs and the applicable revenue-recognition requirements.

Investors will watch the company’s order execution, working-capital requirements and margins as the new contracts progress. The company has not disclosed the expected profitability or a detailed execution schedule for the newly announced orders.
