Jyoti Structures Bags ₹649 Crore Power Grid Order
Jyoti Structures secures a ₹649 crore Power Grid order for an 800 kV HVDC project, taking three recent awards to ₹1,598 crore.

Jyoti Structures has received a ₹648.91 crore order from Power Grid Corporation of India for an 800 kV HVDC transmission line package in Gujarat. The latest award takes the combined value of three orders linked to the transmission project to ₹1,598.26 crore, excluding GST.

Jyoti Structures shares are in focus on Wednesday, October 28, after the company announced a ₹648.91 crore order from Power Grid Corporation of India for a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission line project in Gujarat. The award, disclosed to the stock exchanges on October 28, takes the combined value of three recent Power Grid contracts awarded to the company to ₹1,598.26 crore, excluding GST.

The latest contract covers Package TL05 of the ±800 kV HVDC Bipole Barmer-II and South Kalamb Transmission Lines project. Jyoti Structures will execute the work on a total turnkey basis, with a completion period of 38 months from the date of the Notification of Award.

The contract involves the supply, erection, testing and commissioning of ±800 kV HVDC transmission lines in Gujarat. The order value is ₹648.91 crore, excluding GST.

The company received the Notification of Award from Power Grid Corporation of India, the central public-sector enterprise responsible for much of India’s interstate electricity transmission network.

HVDC transmission technology is used to transfer large amounts of electricity over long distances. The project forms part of the transmission infrastructure being developed to support the movement of power across regions.

The latest award follows two Power Grid contracts worth a combined ₹949.35 crore that Jyoti Structures disclosed on October 26, 2026. Those awards covered Packages TL01 and TL02 under the same transmission project.

With the additional ₹648.91 crore award for Package TL05, the combined value of the three contracts stands at ₹1,598.26 crore, excluding GST.

The series of awards adds to Jyoti Structures’ order pipeline in the power transmission infrastructure segment. However, the contract value should not be treated as immediate revenue: execution and revenue recognition will take place over the project period, subject to the applicable accounting requirements.

The Power Grid awards follow another recent contract announced by Jyoti Structures on October 23. The company received a ₹689.93 crore order from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation for the 765 kV direct-current Pachchham–Saykha transmission line project in Gujarat, with a completion period of 42 months.

The company also has experience in transmission-line construction, substations, engineering, manufacturing and project execution in India and overseas markets.

Investors will track the pace of project execution, the conversion of new awards into revenue, working-capital requirements and the company’s ability to deliver the projects within their stipulated timelines.
