Subros Share Price In Focus After Securing ₹1,225 Crore Maruti Suzuki Order For Two Vehicle Models, With A Seven-Year Supply Timeline
Subros secures a ₹1,225 crore HVAC supply contract from Maruti Suzuki for two vehicle models.

Subros shares are in focus after the company bagged a new ₹1,225 crore supply contract from Maruti Suzuki India Limited. The seven-year order covers HVAC for two vehicle models and is expected to strengthen Subros’ presence in western India.

Subros Limited has secured a new business award worth approximately ₹1,225 crore from Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL). The domestic contract covers the supply of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) assemblies over the models’ lifecycle of around seven years.

The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing dated 27 October 2026. A day after the contract news was announced, the Subros share price surged as much as 10% as it hit an intraday high of ₹678.80 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

However, at 12:53 pm on 28 October 2026, Subros shares fell 3.01%, trading at ₹597.30 on the exchange.

The Subros Maruti Suzuki order involves supplying HVAC assemblies for the YM3 and YU0 models. Deliveries will begin in line with the respective production start dates and customer milestones.

The company said the new award would support its business growth and strengthen its presence in western India. It also expects the contract to reinforce its longstanding relationship with Maruti Suzuki.

The domestic contract falls under the existing Basic Purchase Agreement with Maruti Suzuki. Subros disclosed that its promoters, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the awarding entity.

The transaction qualifies as a related-party transaction but will be conducted on an arm’s-length basis.

Subros is India’s leading manufacturer of thermal products for automotive applications. The company manufactures automotive thermal products, including compressors, condensers and heat exchangers. Its products serve passenger vehicles, buses, trucks, transport refrigeration and railway applications.

Despite the new contract, the source report noted that Subros share price performance had remained weak over the preceding year. The stock was down around 45% over that period, and reported a 52-week high of ₹1,161.

Reports showed the stock trading below seven of its eight simple moving averages. This indicates that the latest order announcement and the stock’s broader price trend present different signals for investors.
