M K C Agro Fresh Files Draft Papers With SEBI For IPO

M K C Agro Fresh has filed draft IPO papers with Sebi, proposing a fresh issue and OFS. Proceeds will support debt repayment, corporate purposes and expansion plans.
M K C Agro Fresh Ltd has filed draft papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its proposed initial public offering (IPO).
The Delhi-NCR-based fresh-fruit supply chain company has proposed a combination of a fresh issue and an offer for sale (OFS). The IPO will include up to 99.99 lakh equity shares from the fresh issue and up to 68.12 lakh shares offered by existing shareholders.
IPO Proceeds To Support Debt Reduction
The company plans to use the funds raised through the fresh issue to repay or prepay certain borrowings. A portion of the MKC Agro Fresh IPO proceeds will also be allocated towards general corporate purposes.
M K C Agro Fresh operates an integrated tree-to-table fruit supply chain. Its operations cover procurement from farmers, sorting, grading, waxing, ripening, storage, processing, logistics and distribution.
The company's portfolio includes more than 15 fruit categories. These include apples, oranges, mangoes, grapes, kiwis and bananas.
Company Expanding Fruit Storage And Processing
M K C Agro Fresh operates a 5,756-metric-tonne controlled-atmosphere cold-storage facility in Greater Noida.
The company is also developing a 500-metric-tonne-per-day frozen concentrated orange juice facility at Bargaon, Warud, in Maharashtra's Vidarbha region.
The Maharashtra government has granted the project 'Mega Project' status. Commercial production is expected to begin by 31 March 2027, according to the draft papers.
Narnolia Financial Services has been appointed as the book-running lead manager for the issue. Bigshare Services will act as the registrar for the IPO.
