My UPI registration was successful, but the transaction failed. Why did this happen and what should I do?

There are a few common reasons why a UPI transaction might fail even after successful registration:

  1. Insufficient Balance: Ensure that your linked bank account has enough funds.
  2. Incorrect UPI PIN: A wrong PIN entry will result in transaction failure.
  3. Bank Server Downtime: Sometimes, your bank’s servers might be temporarily down or unresponsive.
  4. Network Issues: Poor internet connectivity can interrupt the transaction process.
  5. Daily Transaction Limit Reached: You can transfer up to ₹2,00,000 per day via UPI

What to do:

  • Double-check your account balance and UPI PIN.
  • Retry the transaction after a few minutes.
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
  • If the issue persists, try using a different bank account linked to your UPI.
  • Contact us on XXXX for assistance if the amount is debited but margin is not received.
