Ramakrishna Forgings Plans Up To ₹300 Crore Investment In FY27

Ramakrishna Forgings plans to invest ₹250-300 crore in 2026-27, including ₹170 crore for a passenger vehicle components facility in Jharkhand. The company is also expanding machining and assembly capacity as it works towards one million tonnes of annual production capacity by 2030
Kolkata-based Ramakrishna Forgings is planning to invest between ₹250 crore and ₹300 crore during 2026-27 as it expands its manufacturing operations across multiple facilities.
The company, which supplies forged, machined and fabricated products, is putting a significant part of the planned investment towards its passenger vehicle business.
₹170 Crore Jharkhand Project To Start Next Year
Ramakrishna Forgings will invest around ₹170 crore in a Jharkhand facility for manufacturing passenger vehicle components, Joint Managing Director Chaitanya Jalan said.
The new unit is expected to be commissioned around March-April next year. Apart from the passenger vehicle project, the company also plans to spend on increasing capacity in its machining and assembly operations.
Company Targets One Million Tonnes Annual Capacity By 2030
The fresh investment is part of Ramakrishna Forgings' longer-term expansion plans. The company is working towards taking its total annual production capacity to one million tonnes by 2030. The proposed investments in new facilities and additional machining and assembly capacity are expected to support that goal.
On Thursday, 10 September 2026, Ramakrishna Forgings’ shares ended the session at ₹727.05 apiece at the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The stock closed 0.88% higher than the previous day’s closing price.
