Indian equity indices are expected to witness stock-specific action driven by fourth-quarter earnings announcements amid renewed tensions in the Middle East. On Monday, i.e., 20 April, the key equity indices NSE Nifty 50 and the BSE Sensex ended on a higher note at 24,364 and 78,520.30, respectively.

Stocks in Focus

Here are some of the key stocks to watch:

PNB Housing Finance: The company reported a year-on-year rise of 14.39% in its net profit to ₹648.7 crore.

TVS Motor: The company has announced a joint venture agreement with Hyundai Motor Company to develop, manufacture and commercialise electric micromobility three-wheelers for India and global markets.
Vedanta Ltd: The company announced its demerger on 1 May. As per the plan, the company will be divided into 4 different units.

JSW Steel: The company has entered into a joint venture with South Korea’s POSCO to establish a 6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) greenfield steel plant in Odisha.

Hindustan Copper Ltd: The company approved a ₹7,188.60 crore mine expansion plan and outlined its Vision 2030 roadmap at the annual meeting.

Muthoot Microfin: The company’s AUM increased to ₹14,006 crore, marking a growth of 13% on a year-on-year basis.

SML Mahindra: The company registered a growth of 16.4% in its revenue and 2.4% in its net profit.

Apart from the above stocks, HCL Technologies, Nestle India, Mahindra EPC Irrigation, Persistent Systems, Powerica, Tata Elxsi, and Tata Investment Corporation will also be in focus on the back of their Q4FY26 results declarations.
