Indian markets could see stock-specific action today as several companies announced fresh developments after market hours. From regulatory changes and capital investments to order wins and leadership updates, here are the key stocks to watch today.

The National Stock Exchange has announced the removal of Housing & Urban Development Corporation, Piramal Pharma, Tata Technologies, and Torrent Power from the Futures & Options (F&O) segment with effect from 29 April 2026.

This could be of particular interest to traders who are actively trading F&O in these stocks. It will not directly impact the businesses of these companies but could indirectly affect trading volumes in the stock.

With developments spanning telecom, renewable energy, defence, infrastructure, real estate and banking, today’s session is likely to be driven more by stock-specific triggers than by broad market themes. Exits from the F&O segment could alter trading activity in select counters, while large capital commitments, order inflows and regulatory updates may influence sentiment in others.

Investors may also be interested in observing the market’s reaction to tax disputes and governance-related disclosures in the banking space. As always, volumes and management’s guidance will be important to monitor to see if these trends are sustained or are merely short-term reactions.
