Indian markets may open weakly as GIFT Nifty declines. Q4 earnings, project wins, leadership changes, and strategic developments across insurance, pharma, infra, and tech stocks remain in focus.
The Indian equity markets are expected to remain stock-specific today, as the latest Q4 earnings and corporate actions are driving momentum and corporate actions are driving the momentum. However, the GIFT Nifty is down by 85 points at 7:38 am on 16 April, indicating a negative start for the Nifty 50 and lower investor confidence.
What Are The Stocks To Watch?
Here are some of the key stocks to watch today:
ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company: The company has reported a 7.25% year-on-year rise in net profit in Q4 FY26.
GMR Airports Ltd: In the recent filing, the company reported passenger traffic of 32 million in Q4FY26.
Aurobindo Pharma Ltd: The company said its subsidiary TheraNym Biologics Pvt. Ltd. has expanded its existing contract manufacturing agreement with Merck Sharp & Dohme Singapore Trading Pte Ltd through the addition of a new product schedule.
HDB Financial: The NBFC reported PAT of ₹751 crore in the latest quarterly reports, marking a solid 41.4% hike from the same quarter last year.
Brigade Enterprises Ltd: The company said it has entered into a joint development agreement for an 8.63-acre land parcel in Gunjur, East Bengaluru, enabling the development of a larger integrated residential township project.
GHV Infra Projects Ltd: The company has received a construction project worth ₹815 crore from APCO Infratech Private Ltd.
Tejas Networks: The company has announced the appointment of a CFO, MD, CEO and COO, indicating a leadership overhaul after witnessing major losses in Q4.
Adani Total Gas: The company said nodal agency GAIL has cut its APM gas allocation by 15%, effective 16 April, with costlier New Well Gas (NWG) expected to weigh on profitability.
IREDA: The company registered a rise of 48.7% in its net profit in the recent quarter.
NHPC: The company said Unit-4 (200 MW) of the Parbati-II hydroelectric project in Himachal Pradesh has commenced commercial operations following a successful trial run.
Swiggy: The company has announced plans to create 12 lakh job opportunities over the next 2-3 years in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour & Employment to support employment generation across the gig and logistics segments.
TCS: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has cleared the allotment of 21.16 acres of land in Visakhapatnam to Tata Consultancy Services at a nominal lease of 99 paise.
