Indosolar's Q4 results were a mixed bag as the profit margin increased while the revenue dropped 56.7%. The market's response was pessimistic as the stock tumbled by almost 5% after the announcement.

Indosolar reported a mixed set of Q4FY26 results, where profitability improved sharply, but revenue saw a steep decline. The market reaction was negative, with the stock falling nearly 5% after the announcement.

The company’s revenue for the quarter was ₹83 crore, almost 57% less than Q4FY25 when it was ₹192 crore.

As a result of this announcement, Indosolar's share price fell 5% on the NSE and was trading at ₹513.85 on 20 April 2026, at 11:15 am.

Even with lower revenue, the company managed to improve profitability at the operating level. EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) stood at ₹64.3 crore versus ₹50.2 crore last year, a growth of almost 28%. EBITDA margin also increased sharply to reach 77.4%, as compared to 26.1% in the year before.

In other words, the company earned more profit per unit of revenue, even though overall sales dropped. That’s why profit after tax (PAT) was positive at ₹42 crore, up almost 5%.

Although the quarter looked weak on revenue, the results for the entire year were a bit more positive. The company reported a profit before tax (PBT) of ₹56.31 crore in the quarter, up from ₹40.04 crore a year ago, though it was slightly lower compared to the previous quarter.
