Hero Motors IPO: Price Band Announced At ₹79-₹84 For ₹1,000 Crore Issue
Hero Motors IPO set for 16 September 2026 with a ₹600 crore fresh issue and ₹400 crore OFS.

Hero Motors has fixed the price band for the IPO at ₹79-₹84 per equity share. The ₹1,000 crore offering will be a fresh issue of ₹600 crore and an OFS of ₹400 crore. The IPO will be open for subscription from 16 September to 18 September 2026.

Hero Motors Limited has announced the price band for its initial public offering (IPO) at ₹79-₹84 per equity share. The face value of each equity share is ₹10. The Hero Motors IPO is set to open for subscription on 16 September 2026 and close on 18 September 2026. Anchor investor allocation is planned for 15 September 2026.

The lot size has been set at 178 equity shares, with investors able to bid in multiples of 178 shares thereafter.

The shares are expected to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on 23 September 2026.

The Hero Motors IPO has a total issue size of ₹1,000 crore, comprising a ₹600 crore fresh issue and a ₹400 crore offer for sale (OFS). At the upper end of the price band, the company is expected to have a market capitalisation of ₹3,815 crore.

The fresh issue proceeds are planned for two purposes. Hero Motors plans to deploy the proceeds towards debt reduction and the purchase of equipment required to expand its facility in Uttar Pradesh.

The OFS will also change the promoter ownership structure. Promoter holding is expected to fall to 61.63% from 85.57% after the offer.

The IPO subscription will have different portions earmarked for investor categories. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) can be allocated up to 50% of the public issue, while at least 15% is reserved for non-institutional investors (NIIs). Retail investors have a minimum reservation of 35%.

The tentative allotment is scheduled for 21 September 2026. Refunds are expected to begin on 22 September 2026, with shares also due to be credited to the demat accounts of successful allottees that day.

ICICI Securities, DAM Capital and JM Financial are the book-running lead managers for the issue. Kfin Technologies is the registrar.
