Jubilant Foodworks Ltd is a prominent player in the Indian food service industry. It operates primarily in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) segment and is well-known for its franchise of the Domino's Pizza brand in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. The company also holds the franchise rights for Dunkin' Donuts and has ventured into the Chinese cuisine segment with its own brand, Hong's Kitchen. Recent developments in the company include efforts to expand its geographical footprint and strengthen its digital and delivery capabilities to cater to evolving consumer preferences.

In the second quarter of the fiscal year 2026 (Q2FY26), Jubilant Foodworks Ltd reported a total income of ₹2355.38 crores. This represents an increase from the previous quarter (Q1FY26), where the total income was ₹2279.39 crores, marking a quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) growth of 3.3%. When compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal year (Q2FY25), the total income has increased from ₹1984.93 crores, reflecting a year-over-year (YoY) growth of 18.7%. These figures indicate a robust increase in revenue over the periods considered.

The company reported a profit before tax (PBT) of ₹155.39 crores for Q2FY26, up from ₹125.65 crores in Q1FY26, which results in a QoQ increase of 23.7%. Compared to Q2FY25, where the PBT was ₹89.26 crores, there is a YoY growth of 74.1%. The tax expense for Q2FY26 amounted to ₹47.86 crores, showing an increase from ₹31.66 crores in the previous quarter and ₹15.47 crores in the same quarter last year. Consequently, the profit after tax (PAT) for Q2FY26 stood at ₹194.59 crores, which is a significant increase from both the previous quarter's ₹94.34 crores and the previous year's ₹66.53 crores, translating to a QoQ growth of 106.3% and a YoY growth of 192.5%.

The earnings per share (EPS) for Q2FY26 was reported at ₹1.61, an increase from ₹1.43 in Q1FY26, resulting in a QoQ growth of 12.6%. Compared to Q2FY25, where the EPS was ₹0.97, there is a YoY growth of 66.0%. Total expenses for Q2FY26 were ₹2199.99 crores, which is higher than the ₹2153.75 crores recorded in Q1FY26 and the ₹1895.68 crores in Q2FY25, equating to a QoQ increase of 2.1% and a YoY increase of 16.1%. These operating metrics suggest significant improvements in the company's financial performance over the respective periods.
