V-Guard Industries Q1 FY27 Results: Net Profit Surges 76% To ₹130.25 Crore, Revenue Up 23.5%; Shares Jump

V-Guard Industries reported a strong set of Q1 FY27 earnings, with consolidated net profit rising 76% year-on-year to ₹130.25 crore and revenue from operations increasing 23.5% to ₹1,810.65 crore. Total income also grew during the quarter, while earnings per share improved to ₹2.97. Following the results, V-Guard Industries shares jumped more than 8% in intraday trade.
V-Guard Industries Q1 FY27 Results: V-Guard Industries on Wednesday reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27) during market hours, with growth across revenue, profit and operating performance.
The consumer electricals company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹130.25 crore for the April-June quarter, up 76% from ₹73.85 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue from operations rose 23.5% year-on-year to ₹1,810.65 crore, compared with ₹1,466.08 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Consolidated total income increased to ₹1,822.33 crore from ₹1,471.33 crore a year earlier, while total expenses stood at ₹1,650.46 crore, compared with ₹1,373.07 crore in Q1 FY26.
On the operational front, EBITDA increased 55.2% to ₹188.29 crore from ₹121.31 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. EBITDA margin expanded to 10.8% from 8.6% a year ago.
Basic earnings per share (EPS) improved to ₹2.97 for the quarter from ₹1.69 in the year-ago period.
V-Guard Industries Q1 FY27 Results: Segment Performance
The electronics business reported revenue of ₹658.46 crore, up from ₹536.29 crore a year earlier.
Revenue from the electricals segment rose to ₹670 crore from ₹524.70 crore, while the consumer durables business reported revenue of ₹416.71 crore, compared with ₹349.58 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from the Sunflame business increased to ₹65.69 crore from ₹55.51 crore a year earlier.
V-Guard Industries Q1 FY27 Results: Management Commentary
Managing Director Mithun K. Chittilappilly said the company will continue to monitor the geopolitical situation and take appropriate steps to safeguard supplies and margins.
"We will continue to monitor the geopolitical situation and will take appropriate actions necessary to protect supplies and margins. We are hopeful that the growth momentum will sustain in the upcoming quarters," he said.
V-Guard Industries Share Price
Following the earnings announcement, V-Guard Industries shares climbed as much as 8.4% to an intraday high of ₹316.80, compared with the previous closing price of ₹292.25, according to NSE data.
At around 2:20 pm IST, the stock was trading 3.1% higher at ₹302 apiece on the NSE.
