SPML Infra Limited has secured an order worth approximately ₹186.41 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for transmission infrastructure work in Rajasthan. The contract involves extending the 765/400/220 kV Bhadla-III Substation and Ramgarh Pooling Station, with execution scheduled over 27 months from the date of the letter of award.

SPML Infra order covers Bhadla-III and Ramgarh substations
The contract awarded by POWERGRID relates to the extension of two extra-high-voltage substations at Bhadla-III and Ramgarh. The work forms part of transmission system augmentation.
The project will be executed on an EPC basis, with the stipulated completion period of 27 months from the date of the LOA or as specified in the final award terms.
SPML Infra disclosed that the order was awarded by a domestic entity. It also stated that the promoter group has no interest in the awarding entity and that the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
SPML Infra receives fresh transmission infrastructure order
The order adds to SPML Infra's work in the power and water infrastructure segments. Transmission projects involving high-voltage substations are part of the infrastructure required to evacuate and transmit electricity across the grid.
The company has not yet disclosed the formal LOA date. The execution timeline will therefore be reckoned from the date of the formal award, subject to its final terms.
