Eternal Q1 FY27 Results: Net Profit At ₹92 Crore, Revenue Up 182% To ₹20,211 Crore As Blinkit Growth Continues

Eternal Q1 FY27 results: Eternal reported a sharp rise in Q1 FY27 revenue and profit, with Blinkit's rapid expansion driving growth as food delivery remained resilient.
Eternal, the operator of Zomato and Blinkit, reported a sharp rise in June-quarter revenue as its quick commerce business continued to expand, although profit moderated from the previous quarter.
Revenue from operations rose 182% year-on-year to ₹20,211 crore in the April-June period from ₹7,167 crore a year earlier. Consolidated net profit attributable to owners increased to ₹92 crore from ₹25 crore, while declining from ₹174 crore reported in the March quarter.
Growth continued to be led by Blinkit. The quick commerce business reported net order value (NOV) of ₹17,132 crore, up 86% from a year ago. Across the group, NOV increased 54% to ₹31,120 crore.
Reported EBITDA stood at ₹594 crore against ₹115 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, taking the margin to 2.94% from 1.69%. Adjusted EBITDA came in at ₹555 crore, compared with ₹172 crore a year earlier.
Food ordering and delivery generated revenue of ₹3,100 crore during the quarter, while Blinkit contributed ₹15,664 crore. Hyperpure revenue stood at ₹1,034 crore and the Going Out business contributed ₹318 crore.
The food delivery business recorded net order value of ₹10,769 crore, up more than 20% year-on-year. Adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 5.6% of NOV, translating into adjusted EBITDA of ₹606 crore.
The company said it will discontinue reporting Gross Order Value (GOV) from the June quarter and use Net Order Value (NOV) as its primary operating metric.
Eternal Q1 FY27 Results: Blinkit Expansion Remains In Focus
Chief Financial Officer Akshant Goyal said Blinkit's expansion would continue as the company invests in stores and warehousing infrastructure. Eternal currently operates around 19 million square feet of warehousing and store space across more than 300 cities.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer Deepinder Goyal said the District platform continued to gain traction, helping connect customers with restaurants, movie screens, retail stores and live events.

Eternal shares settled 0.77% lower at ₹284.40 on the National Stock Exchange after the company announced its June quarter earnings.
