Adani Green Energy reported its Q1 FY27 results on Wednesday, posting higher revenue and profit for the June quarter as capacity additions lifted electricity generation across its renewable portfolio.

The compnay said it remains on track to add 5 GW of renewable energy capacity and more than 10,000 MWh of battery storage capacity by FY27. The company continues to target 50 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030, alongside expansion in battery and pumped storage projects.

Chief Executive Officer Ashish Khanna said crossing the 20 GW operational capacity milestone marked a strong start to FY27. He said energy storage would play a larger role in supporting round-the-clock renewable power supply as electricity demand continues to grow.
