Aegis Logistics Q1 FY 2026-27 Results: Net Profit Jumps To Rs 484 Crore, Shares Surge 7%

Aegis Logistics posted a sharp rise in June-quarter profit and margins, led by strong performance in its Gas Terminal segment. Shares of the company surged as much as 7 percent during the session before paring most of the gains, as investors reacted to the strong earnings beat across both revenue and profitability metrics.
Aegis Logistics Q1 FY 2026-27 Results: Logistics and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) infrastructure company Aegis Logistics Ltd reported a strong set of earnings for the June quarter (Q1 FY27) on Thursday, August 6, aided by robust revenue growth and a significant improvement in operating profitability.
The company's consolidated net profit rose to Rs 484 crore for the quarter ended June, compared with Rs 131 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue from operations increased 37 percent year-on-year to Rs 2,357 crore during the quarter, up from Rs 1,719 crore a year earlier.
At the operating level, EBITDA nearly tripled to Rs 715 crore from Rs 240 crore a year earlier, while EBITDA margin expanded sharply to 30.3 percent from 14 percent, reflecting stronger operating performance during the quarter.
Profit before tax rose to Rs 719.3 crore from Rs 227.9 crore in the year-ago quarter, while tax expense increased to Rs 174.4 crore from Rs 52.5 crore. Total expenses climbed to Rs 1,743.9 crore from Rs 1,554 crore, led by higher purchases of stock-in-trade, employee costs and finance costs. Purchases of stock-in-trade rose to Rs 1,993.7 crore from Rs 1,418.6 crore, employee benefit expenses stood at Rs 24.9 crore against Rs 32.8 crore, while finance costs came in at Rs 47.7 crore compared with Rs 32.8 crore a year earlier.
Business Performance
The Gas Terminal division remained the primary contributor to performance during the quarter. Segment revenue rose to Rs 2,178.6 crore from Rs 1,575.5 crore a year ago, while segment profit more than quadrupled to Rs 575.3 crore from Rs 132.1 crore.
The Liquid Terminal division also delivered steady growth, with revenue rising to Rs 178.3 crore from Rs 143.9 crore and segment profit improving to Rs 109.7 crore from Rs 80.4 crore.
Consolidated total comprehensive income rose to Rs 544.8 crore from Rs 175.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit attributable to owners of the company increased to Rs 484.4 crore from Rs 131.3 crore, while earnings per share improved to Rs 13.80 from Rs 3.74 a year ago.
The company said its unaudited financial results were reviewed by the audit committee and approved by the board of directors at its meeting held on August 6, with statutory auditors issuing an unmodified limited review report on the quarterly results.
Aegis Logistics Share Price
Shares of Aegis Logistics surged as much as 7 percent on Thursday after the company announced its June quarter earnings, hitting an intraday high of Rs 1,497.80. The stock later gave up most of its gains to trade at Rs 1,414.90, up 1.37 percent, at the time of writing.
