The company reported a 124.22% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹1,149 crore for Q1 FY27, while revenue from operations increased 42.41% to ₹9,711 crore, driven by strong growth across its transmission, distribution, smart meter and energy solutions businesses.

Adani Energy Solutions on Tuesday, July 21, reported a 124.22% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit attributable to owners of the company to ₹1,149 crore for the April-June quarter (Q1 FY27), compared with ₹512.48 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Sequentially, profit rose from ₹723 crore in the March quarter.

Revenue from operations rose 42.41% year-on-year to ₹9,711.08 crore from ₹6,819.28 crore a year earlier and increased sequentially from ₹7,443 crore in the March quarter.

The sharp rise in earnings was supported by robust growth across the company's transmission, smart meter and energy solutions businesses during the quarter.

Total expenses rose to ₹8,440 crore during the quarter from ₹5,864 crore a year earlier, mainly due to higher power purchase costs, construction expenses under service concession arrangements, finance costs and depreciation. Power purchase costs more than doubled to ₹3,561 crore, while finance costs increased to ₹1,152 crore from ₹894 crore a year ago.

The transmission segment's revenue climbed 52.42% year-on-year to ₹3,335.26 crore from ₹2,188.19 crore, while segment profit before interest and tax increased to ₹1,327 crore from ₹927 crore.

The smart meter business continued its strong momentum, with revenue surging 209.81% year-on-year to ₹346.99 crore from ₹112 crore. Segment profit jumped to ₹153 crore from ₹47 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The energy solutions platform recorded revenue growth of 809.27% year-on-year to ₹1,906.83 crore, compared with ₹209.71 crore in the year-ago quarter.

The distribution business reported revenue of ₹3,520.43 crore, up 4.78% year-on-year from ₹3,359.84 crore, while segment profit rose to ₹357 crore from ₹303 crore.

Shares of Adani Energy Solutions rose as much as 3.4% intraday on Tuesday after the company reported its June quarter results, touching a fresh 52-week high. The stock had hit its 52-week low in September 2025.
