Wipro Q4FY26: Profit Falls 1.85% YoY To ₹3,502 Crore; ₹15,000 Crore Buyback Announced

Wipro reported a marginal dip in annual profit but a strong sequential recovery in Q4FY26, alongside a ₹15,000 crore buyback and a cautious flat-to-negative guidance for the next quarter.

Wipro reported a marginal year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit for Q4FY26, though sequential numbers showed a strong recovery. Wipro also announced a major share buyback programme.

The company's consolidated profit after tax came in at ₹3,502 crore for Q4FY26, down 1.85% from ₹3,569 crore in the same quarter last year. However, sequentially, profit jumped 12.27% to ₹3,502 crore from ₹3,119 crore. Revenue from operations rose 9.77% YoY to ₹24,236 crore, up from ₹22,504 crore in Q4FY25.

  • Full year revenue: ₹92,624 crore, up 3.96% YoY

The board approved a buyback of up to 60 crore equity shares of face value ₹2 each at ₹250 per share, aggregating to ₹15,000 crore. This represents 5.7% of Wipro's total paid-up equity share capital.

Wipro guided IT services revenue for Q1FY27 in the range of $2,597 million to $2,651 million, implying a sequential decline of 2% in constant currency terms.

Aparna Iyer, Chief Financial Officer, said, "Our cash conversion continues to remain strong with operating cash flows at 112.6% of net income for FY’26. During the year, we have returned a substantial portion of the cash generated to shareholders in the form of dividends."

Wipro share price settled 0.19% higher at ₹210 on the NSE at the time of writing. The stock had touched a 52-week high of ₹273.10 in December 2025 and a low of ₹186.50 in March 2026.
