SFC Environmental Technologies has raised ₹200.25 crore from 11 anchor investors, a day before it opens for subscription. The Navi Mumbai wastewater treatment firm allotted 60.68 lakh shares on 26 October 2026, and 54.09 lakh of those went to eight domestic mutual funds.
The shares were allotted at ₹330 each, the top end of the ₹313 to ₹330 price band. The public issue opens for subscription on 27 October 2026 and closes on 29 October 2026.
Who Bought Into The Anchor Book?
Mutual funds led the pack in the SFC Environmental Technologies anchor investors list. SBI Mutual Fund, Nippon Life India, ICICI Prudential AMC, Quant Mutual Fund, Edelweiss and Sundaram Mutual Fund all took part, along with a few others.
Some overseas and insurance names joined too. Government Pension Fund Global, Societe Generale and Edelweiss Life Insurance Company also invested in the issue. Anchor investors usually get shares before the public does, and big names in that list often signal confidence in an issue.
Where Will The Money Go?
The full IPO is worth ₹667.5 crore at the upper end of the band. The SFC Environmental Technologies IPO details include two components: a fresh issue of ₹150 crore and an offer for sale of 1.56 crore shares worth ₹517.53 crore. So, most of the money will go to selling shareholders, not the company.
From the fresh issue, ₹42.2 crore will be used to repay debt. Another ₹74.9 crore will go towards working capital, and the rest will cover general corporate purposes. Debt is a real factor here. The company’s borrowings stood at ₹253.1 crore as of July 2026.
How Is The Business Doing?
SFC Environmental Technologies works in wastewater treatment, wastewater recycling and reuse, and solid waste treatment. As of August 2026, its order book was ₹641 crore in wastewater treatment, ₹561 crore in recycling and reuse, and ₹454.5 crore in solid waste treatment.
The latest quarter looks better than last year’s. For the quarter ended June 2026, the company made a profit of ₹1.5 crore, against a loss of ₹1.3 crore a year earlier. Revenue nearly doubled to ₹133.9 crore from ₹67.8 crore.
The SFC Environmental Technologies IPO will give investors an opportunity to consider the company’s financial performance, order book and planned use of funds before the issue closes on 29 October 2026.
