November 2026 Income Tax Calendar: Check TDS, TCS Certificate And ITR Filing Deadlines For AY 2026–27
November 2026 income tax deadlines include TDS and TCS payments, certificate issuance and ITR filing for AY 2026–27.

November 2026 brings several important income tax compliance deadlines for taxpayers, businesses and tax deductors. Key dates include the 7 November deadline for depositing Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS), certificate issuance requirements during the month, and the extended income tax return (ITR) filing deadline for audit cases on 21 November. Transfer pricing cases have until the end of the month to file their returns.

November's tax calendar includes obligations for employers, businesses, government offices and individual taxpayers. The requirements range from depositing tax collected during the previous month to issuing certificates for deductions made during the September quarter.

There are also two important return filing dates towards the end of the month. One applies to taxpayers whose accounts are subject to specified audit requirements; the other covers cases involving transfer pricing provisions.

Tax deducted or collected during October 2026 must reach the Central Government by 7 November.

Buyers must also upload declarations received in Form 127 under the Income-tax Rules, 2026. The declaration, furnished under Section 394 of the Income-tax Act, 2025, allows buyers to seek exemption from tax deduction at source when submitted to sellers.

Deductors have to issue Form 132 by 14 November for specified transactions involving deductions made during September. These include rent, transfers of immovable property, technical services and Virtual Digital Assets (VDAs).

The following certificates and statements must be furnished by 15 November:

  • Form 131: Quarterly TDS certificates for deductions other than salary, pension and interest income of senior citizens.

  • Form 133: Certificates showing tax collected at source during the quarter ended 30 September 2026.

  • Form 137: Statements from government offices that deposited October TDS or TCS without producing a challan.

Taxpayers whose accounts require a specified audit must file their returns for Assessment Year (AY) 2026–27 by 21 November 2026. The deadline was extended from 31 October. Their tax audit reports were due on 21 October.

For taxpayers covered by Section 92E, the filing cut-off is 30 November. This provision applies to those required to furnish a report on international or specified domestic transactions covered by transfer pricing rules.

The same date applies to Form 141, which records specified TDS deductions made during October. It covers property transfers, rent payments, contractor and professional fees paid by individuals and Hindu Undivided Families (HUFs), and transfers of VDAs.
