Ashok Leyland, Swiggy, Wipro, and Lupin lead the list of key stocks to watch on 29 May 2026.

Indian equities return to action on Friday, 29 May 2026, after Thursday’s market holiday for Eid al-Adha. Dalal Street is expected to open with a stock-specific bias as investors react to a heavy flow of Q4 FY26 earnings, corporate announcements, and shareholder developments.

On 27 May, the benchmark indices ended the session lower. Sensex closed at 75,867.80, down 142 points (0.19%), while the Nifty 50 settled at 23,907.15, lower by 7 points (0.03%).

1. Ashok Leyland

Ashok Leyland reported a strong March quarter performance. Consolidated net profit rose 14.2% year-on-year to ₹1,290.7 crore, compared with ₹1,130.1 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations climbed 17.4% YoY to ₹17,246.4 crore, up from ₹14,695.6 crore.

2. PhysicsWallah

Edtech platform PhysicsWallah posted a consolidated net loss of ₹74.9 crore, compared with a loss of ₹293.1 crore a year earlier. Revenue jumped 50.7% YoY to ₹918.8 crore, versus ₹609.6 crore in the corresponding period last year.

3. Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation

Deepak Fertilisers reported mixed Q4 earnings. Consolidated net profit declined 49.7% to ₹139.4 crore, against ₹277.2 crore last year. However, revenue increased 12.9% YoY to ₹3,011.4 crore, compared with ₹2,667.4 crore.

4. Bata India

Bata India posted weak quarterly earnings. Consolidated profit plunged 95.2% to ₹2.2 crore, sharply lower than ₹45.9 crore in Q4FY25. Revenue rose 5% to ₹827.6 crore from ₹788.2 crore. The earnings were impacted by a ₹28 crore Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) expense, against nil such expense in the year-ago quarter.

5. PC Jeweller

PC Jeweller delivered strong growth in both earnings and revenue. Net profit surged 61.3% YoY to ₹152.9 crore. Revenue rose 32.7% to ₹927.3 crore.

6. Swiggy

Swiggy will remain in focus after its proposal to amend the Articles of Association received 72.36% shareholder approval, below the 75% required to pass. The amendment was aimed at helping the company qualify as an Indian Owned and Controlled Company (IOCC).

7. Tata Elxsi

Tata Elxsi announced the launch of AnaTel, an AI-native software development platform built for healthcare and medtech companies. The platform has been co-developed with OpenAna.

8. RITES

RITES signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CRISIL. The partnership will combine RITES’ transport infrastructure and engineering consultancy expertise with CRISIL’s strengths in data intelligence, analytics and market research.

9. Lupin

The company has received an Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the US FDA for its Ankleshwar facility in Gujarat. The report follows the successful closure of a product-specific pre-approval inspection conducted between 2 March and 7 March 2026.

10. Wipro

Wipro announced an expanded partnership with ServiceNow to scale agentic AI workflows across enterprise functions, including IT, HR, procurement, and cybersecurity.

11. Indoco Remedies

The company has received EU GMP certification from the German Health Authority (Berlin) for its Oral Solid Dosage manufacturing facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The inspection was conducted from 22 April to 27 April 2026.

With a mix of earnings reactions, corporate announcements and regulatory approvals, these stocks are likely to remain firmly on investors’ radar in today’s session.
