Stocks To Watch For 24 July: InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo), Infosys, Suryoday SFB And More

Indian markets ended lower on 23 July as investors tracked rising oil prices and Q1 earnings. Infosys, IndiGo, Suryoday SFB, Motilal Oswal, Cyient and Sona BLW will remain in focus on 24 July.

Indian benchmark indices ended lower for the fourth straight session on 23 July. The Sensex dropped 364 points. The Nifty 50 closed below the 23,900 mark. Investor sentiment remained cautious due to rising crude oil prices and fresh geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Market participants also tracked the June quarter earnings season closely. Several companies released their financial results after market hours, setting up stock-specific action for Friday's session.

    InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo)

InterGlobe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo, reported a consolidated net loss of ₹238 crore for the first quarter of FY27. It had posted a net profit of ₹2,176 crore in the same quarter last year. Higher aviation fuel costs, a weaker rupee and disruptions in West Asia increased operating expenses. These factors offset healthy revenue growth and pushed the company into a quarterly loss.

    Infosys

Infosys has revised its FY27 constant currency revenue growth guidance to 1.5%–3%. Earlier, the company had projected growth of 1.5%–3.5%. The revised outlook was largely in line with market expectations. It reflects continued caution over client spending despite a healthy pipeline of large deals.

    Suryoday Small Finance Bank

Suryoday Small Finance Bank reported a strong set of quarterly earnings. Net profit more than doubled to ₹75 crore in the June quarter from ₹35 crore a year earlier. The 114% year-on-year growth was driven by better operational performance and steady business expansion.

    IEX

Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) reported revenue of ₹156 crore for the latest quarter. The company also posted a net profit of ₹127 crore, reflecting steady financial performance during the period.

    Motilal Oswal Financial Services

Motilal Oswal Financial Services posted an operating profit of ₹609 crore for the first quarter of FY27. This was up 14% from ₹534 crore in the corresponding period last year. The improvement reflects stable business growth and stronger operating performance during the quarter.

    Cyient Ltd.

Cyient reported a sharp sequential improvement in earnings. Consolidated net profit rose 90% quarter-on-quarter to ₹104 crore from ₹55 crore in the previous quarter. The growth highlights improved execution and stronger profitability across its operations.

    Sona BLW Precision Forgings

Sona BLW Precision Forgings reported a 46.7% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit. Profit stood at ₹178.5 crore in the June quarter, compared with ₹122 crore a year earlier. The company's performance was supported by healthy demand and improved operating efficiency.

The June quarter earnings season will continue on 24 July with several major companies announcing their results. Key names include:

    • ACC
    • Bank of Baroda
    • Bank of India
