Indian markets rallied sharply on easing geopolitical concerns, while Paytm, Hitachi Energy, BEL, RVNL and Awfis remained in focus.
Indian equity benchmarks rose sharply on Monday as investor sentiment strengthened on expectations of easing geopolitical tensions near the Strait of Hormuz. The NSE Nifty 50 climbed 312.40 points, or 1.32%, to settle at 24,031.70. Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex surged 1,073.61 points, or 1.42%, to close at 76,488.96, recording its strongest single-day rally in almost six weeks.

Bharat Electronics Ltd
State-owned defence equipment manufacturer Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) on Monday, 25 May, announced that it has received fresh orders worth ₹608 crore since its previous update issued on 5 May 2026.
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd
Railway PSU Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) reported a sharp decline in its March quarter earnings. Consolidated net profit for Q4 FY26 fell 58.9% year-on-year to ₹187.1 crore, compared with ₹455.4 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter last year.
Container Corporation of India Ltd
Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) posted a 12.4% drop in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of FY26. Profit stood at ₹262.7 crore against ₹299.8 crore reported a year earlier.
Hitachi Energy India Ltd
Hitachi Energy India delivered a strong Q4 FY26 performance on the back of higher revenue and improved margins. The company also unveiled a ₹2,000-crore investment programme aimed at expanding its manufacturing capabilities.
One 97 Communications Ltd
One 97 Communications, the parent company of Paytm, said its wholly owned subsidiary Paytm Cloud Technologies Ltd (PCTL) has approved an investment of €9 million in Paytm Europe Payments S.A. through the subscription of 9 million equity shares.
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL) reported a wider consolidated net loss of ₹148.4 crore for the March quarter, compared with a loss of ₹16.87 crore in the year-ago period.
NLC India Ltd
NLC India has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) to jointly explore and develop nuclear power projects across the country.
Awfis Space Solutions Ltd
Awfis Space Solutions posted a significant rise in quarterly earnings, with net profit more than doubling year-on-year, supported by strong enterprise demand, growth in GCC clients, and better operating leverage.
JSW Energy Ltd
JSW Energy said its Finance Committee has approved the closure of its qualified institutions placement (QIP) issue after receiving applications and funds from eligible institutional investors.
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Siemens, Brainbees Solutions and AstraZeneca Pharma India are expected to release their Q4 results today.
