Sheela Foam's Q1 FY27 financial results are in focus as the company announces its quarterly earnings

Sheela Foam Q1 2026-27 Results: Sheela Foam reported a consolidated net profit of ₹61.4 crore for the June quarter, nearly ten times higher than a year ago, aided by a low base and continued benefits from the Kurlon integration. Profit, however, declined 33% from the March quarter, while details on revenue and operating performance are awaited.

Sheela Foam Q1 2026-27 Results: Mattress maker Sheela Foam Ltd. on Tuesday reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 2026-27), with consolidated net profit rising sharply from a year ago.

The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹61.4 crore for the April-June quarter, compared with ₹6.54 crore in the corresponding period last year, reflecting a nearly 10-fold increase on a year-on-year basis.

On a sequential basis, however, net profit declined 33% from ₹91.77 crore reported in the March quarter, indicating moderation in earnings compared with the previous quarter.

The sharp year-on-year increase comes on the back of a low base, as the corresponding quarter last year was impacted by integration-related costs following the acquisition of Kurlon.

The company said the integration of Kurlon continued to support operational performance during the quarter through procurement efficiencies and a more streamlined manufacturing network.

While profitability improved significantly compared with a year ago, earnings moderated sequentially, reflecting seasonal factors and continued operating overheads during the quarter.

The June-quarter performance suggests that benefits from the Kurlon integration are continuing to flow through the business, although the pace of earnings growth remained uneven on a quarter-on-quarter basis.

Sheela Foam shares will remain in focus when trading resumes on Wednesday following the company's June-quarter earnings announcement.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge
