Sheela Foam Q1 2026-27 Results: Mattress and polyurethane (PU) foam maker Sheela Foam Ltd. reported a strong set of earnings for the June quarter (Q1 FY27) on Wednesday, August 5, aided by healthy growth across its mattress and foam businesses.
The company's consolidated net profit rose to ₹61.4 crore in the April-June quarter from ₹7 crore in the corresponding period last year, according to a regulatory filing.
Revenue from operations increased 26% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,032 crore during the quarter.
At the operating level, EBITDA rose 45% YoY to ₹109 crore, while EBITDA margin expanded 139 basis points to 10.6% from the year-ago period. The company said the strong performance was supported by continued momentum across both its mattress and polyurethane (PU) foam businesses.
Business Performance
The company's mattress business recorded 6% volume growth, while value growth stood at 15% during the quarter.
Its foam business posted 4% volume growth and 26% value growth, reflecting healthy demand across product categories.
Management Commentary
Commenting on the results, Chairman and Managing Director Rahul Gautam said the company had started FY27 on a strong note, with both its mattress and foam businesses sustaining the momentum built during the previous financial year.
He said the company's e-commerce and U2O initiatives continued to gain scale, helping widen its market reach. Gautam added that Sheela Foam remains focused on delivering sustained growth with consistent profitability while building long-term value through its integrated operations and expanding distribution network.
Sheela Foam Share Price
Shares of Sheela Foam gained around 2% in Wednesday's trade after the company announced its June quarter earnings. The stock had closed 2.48% lower at ₹771.45 on the BSE in the previous session.
