Rallis India Q2 FY27 Results: Profit Falls To ₹85 Crore As Weather Disruptions Affect Kharif Season Demand
Rallis India Q2 FY27 crop care revenue grows 4% amid challenging conditions and weakness in seeds business.

Rallis India reported Q2 FY27 revenue of ₹858 crore and profit after tax of ₹85 crore amid weather-related disruptions and delayed sowing. Half-year revenue rose 3% to ₹1,880 crore.

Rallis India, a subsidiary of Tata Chemicals, reported revenue of ₹858 crore in Q2 FY27, marginally lower than ₹861 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit after tax (PAT) declined to ₹85 crore from ₹102 crore due to operational challenges during the kharif season.

For the first half of the year, revenue increased to ₹1,880 crore from ₹1,818 crore. PAT also rose to ₹210 crore from ₹197 crore.

The Rallis India share price closed at ₹203.60 on 22 October 2026 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) declined to ₹126 crore in Q2 FY27 from ₹154 crore a year earlier. The EBITDA margin was 14.7%, while the PAT margin stood at 9.9%.

For H1 FY27, EBITDA increased to ₹311 crore from ₹304 crore, and the EBITDA margin was 16.5%. PAT margin stood at 11.2%.

Rallis India Q2 results showed a mixed performance across its business segments. Crop Care revenue grew 4%, driven primarily by 17% growth in the business-to-business (B2B) segment and a recovery in the custom synthesis and manufacturing (CSM) portfolio.

Domestic formulations remained flat year-on-year. Herbicides grew 16% and insecticides recorded flat growth. The Soil and Plant Health business expanded 22%, mainly due to price growth. The seeds business declined, primarily because of higher returns from the kharif season.

During the quarter, Rallis Crop Care introduced four products: Silentra insecticide, Marcellus fungicide, Blitox Super fungicide and Trynage herbicide. These products target crop protection needs across rice, sugarcane and horticulture.

Dr. Gyanendra Shukla, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Rallis India, said the company navigated a disruptive business environment by focusing on portfolio and operational efficiencies.

He added that weather-related disruptions and delayed sowing continued to affect market demand. But the company is focusing on improving market execution by trying to control costs and strengthen customer engagement.
