PVR Inox Buyback To Open On 10 September With Nearly 21 Lakh Shares On Offer

PVR Inox’s ₹300 crore buyback will open on 10 September 2026. It will close on 17 September 2026. The company will seek to repurchase nearly 21 lakh shares at ₹1,450 per share.
PVR Inox Limited’s ₹300 crore share buyback is set to open on 10 September 2026. Eligible shareholders will have an opportunity to tender their shares to the company at ₹1,450 apiece. The offer will remain open until 17 September 2026.
The company plans to repurchase nearly 21 lakh equity shares under the offer. The PVR Inox buyback price is more than 25% above the prevailing market price. Shareholders whose names were eligible on the 4 September 2026 record date can participate in the offer.
On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), at 2:58 pm on 8 September 2026, the PVR Inox shares were trading at ₹1,216.40. The stock had opened at ₹1,161.50 against the previous close of ₹1,156.50. During the session, it touched an intraday high of ₹1,243 and a low of ₹1,153.60.
Buyback Entitlement For Shareholders
Small shareholders in the reserved category can tender 9 shares for every 157 shares held as of the record date, i.e., 4 September 2026. For shareholders in the general category, the entitlement is 21 shares for every 1,108 shares held on that date.
PVR Inox's promoters and promoter group have also indicated their intention to participate. They can collectively tender up to 5.69 lakh shares under the buyback.
PVR Inox Buyback Tender Process
Eligible shareholders can participate either fully or partially and will receive cash for shares accepted under the buyback. The bidding can be placed through a broker registered with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), using a separate buyback window on the exchange.
The registrar is scheduled to complete verification of the tendered shares by 21 September 2026. The company will notify the stock exchanges of the final acceptance or rejection by 23 September 2026. The payment for approved shares and the return of unaccepted shares will be made on 24 September 2026.
