Why Is PC Jeweller Share Price Rising Today?

PC Jeweller Plans Up To 100 New Showrooms
PC Jeweller plans to open up to 100 large-format showrooms over the next 12–18 months across Tier I, Tier II and Tier III cities.
The expansion will be carried out through a mix of company-owned stores and an asset-light franchise model, with new showroom additions expected to begin during the current financial year.
The company is also working on a new jewellery brand aimed at younger and self-purchasing consumers, with a focus on demi-fine and lightweight jewellery as well as lab-grown diamond fine jewellery.
The expansion comes as PC Jeweller looks to capitalise on festive and wedding-season demand during the second half of the financial year.
