L&T Finance Q2 FY27 Retail Disbursements Rise 27% To ₹24,000 Crore
L&T Finance retail loan book reaches approximately ₹1.34 lakh crore in Q2 FY27.

L&T Finance estimates retail disbursements at ₹24,000 crore for Q2 FY27, up 27% year-on-year. Its retail loan book is estimated to grow 29% to ₹1,34,500 crore.

L&T Finance has estimated retail disbursements at around ₹24,000 crore for the quarter ended 30 September 2026, marking a 27% year-on-year (YoY) increase.

The company’s business update shows stronger activity across several retail lending segments, with urban finance and gold finance recording the largest increases during the quarter.

On the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), the L&T Finance share price closed at ₹264.35 on 1 October, down 0.25% from the previous session.

Among its retail businesses, urban finance remained the largest contributor to the estimated Q2 FY27 disbursements at ₹10,320 crore, compared with ₹8,143 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Gold finance recorded a sharp increase to ₹3,230 crore from ₹983 crore. Small and medium enterprise (SME) finance disbursements rose to ₹1,820 crore from ₹1,468 crore, while rural business finance stood at ₹6,350 crore against ₹6,316 crore.

Farmer finance was estimated at ₹1,640 crore, slightly below ₹1,654 crore in the year-ago quarter. The acquired portfolio increased to ₹640 crore from ₹319 crore.

L&T Finance expects its retail loan book to stand at around ₹1,34,500 crore at the end of Q2 FY27, compared with ₹1,04,606 crore a year earlier. This translates into estimated growth of around 29% YoY.

The company’s retailisation level is also estimated to have increased to 99% in Q2 FY27 from 98% in Q2 FY26. This means retail lending is expected to account for almost the entire loan book.

The business update points to continued growth in L&T Finance’s retail lending operations, with disbursements and the retail loan book both estimated to have expanded at a double-digit pace.

However, the company has clarified that these numbers are estimated and provisional and remain subject to limited review by its statutory auditors.
