Dhanteras 2026: Kalyan Jewellers Shares Jump Nearly 4%, Titan Gains 2.6%; Senco Gold, PC Jeweller Rise

Jewellery stocks gained on Friday ahead of Dhanteras 2026, led by Kalyan Jewellers and Titan. The gains came amid expectations of festive demand, with Titan's latest quarterly results and Kalyan Jewellers' strong sales update also drawing investor attention. Senco Gold and PC Jeweller traded higher.
Shares of jewellery companies rose on Friday, November 6, ahead of Dhanteras 2026, with Kalyan Jewellers gaining nearly 4% and Titan climbing more than 2%. The stocks were in focus as investors tracked festive sales expectations, gold prices and recent quarterly updates from jewellery retailers.
Kalyan Jewellers shares were trading at ₹580.70, up ₹20.70 or 3.70%, around 11:47 AM IST. Titan gained ₹125.70 or 2.60% to ₹4,960.30, after moving close to the ₹5,000 mark earlier in the session.
Senco Gold was also trading higher at ₹321.55, up 0.96%, while PC Jeweller gained 0.77% to ₹15.68. All four stocks were in positive territory during morning trade, although Kalyan Jewellers and Titan recorded larger gains.
The rise comes ahead of Dhanteras, when customers traditionally buy gold and silver. Jewellery retailers also expect demand from the wedding season, which follows the festival.
The stocks have been drawing attention after strong sales updates from Titan and Kalyan Jewellers. Titan reported a 25% rise in total income for the September quarter, while Kalyan Jewellers said revenue from its India business grew 27% during the same period.
Titan, Kalyan Jewellers Lead Gains
Titan shares rose to nearly ₹5,000 during Friday's session before easing to ₹4,960.30 around 11:46 AM IST. The stock remained 2.60% higher than its previous close.
The Tata Group company recently reported total income of ₹20,533 crore for the September quarter, an increase of 25% from a year earlier. Its domestic jewellery business grew 21% during the quarter. The company operates jewellery brands including Tanishq, Mia and Zoya.
Kalyan Jewellers shares gained 3.70% to ₹580.70, making it one of the stronger performers among the jewellery stocks tracked.
The company had earlier reported 27% growth in revenue from its India operations during the September quarter. Same-store sales rose around 20%, helped by demand across its retail network.
The company is yet to announce its detailed quarterly earnings, which will provide more information on profit and margins.
Among other jewellery companies, Senco Gold gained ₹3.05 to ₹321.55, while PC Jeweller added ₹0.12 to trade at ₹15.68.
Why Are Jewellery Stocks Rising Today?
Jewellery stocks attracted buying interest ahead of Dhanteras, a major gold-buying occasion in India.
The festival usually brings customers to jewellery stores for purchases of gold coins, ornaments and silver. The wedding season also supports sales, particularly for retailers with a large store network.
Gold prices have been volatile in recent months. After rising sharply, prices corrected from their highs before recovering. The movement in prices is important for jewellery companies because it can affect when customers decide to buy.
Higher gold prices can increase the value of jewellery sales, but they can also lead customers to purchase smaller quantities. Retailers therefore track both the amount spent and the volume of gold sold.
Titan and Kalyan Jewellers have reported strong business growth despite high gold prices. Their recent updates suggest that demand at organised jewellery retailers has remained firm.
However, Friday's share-price gains cannot be attributed to festive demand alone. Titan's quarterly results, Kalyan Jewellers' upcoming earnings and broader market trading may also have influenced the stocks.
Jewellery Stocks: What to Watch Next
The December quarter will give investors a clearer picture of festive jewellery sales. Titan's September-quarter results showed growth across its jewellery, watches and eyecare businesses. Kalyan Jewellers has also reported higher sales from its India stores, with its detailed quarterly earnings still awaited.
The next set of results will show whether the companies were able to maintain sales growth and protect margins during the festive period.
Gold prices will remain important. A further rise could make jewellery more expensive for customers, while stable prices may support purchases during the wedding season.
For now, Kalyan Jewellers and Titan have recorded the stronger gains among the four stocks, while Senco Gold and PC Jeweller have also moved higher.
