HT Digital Streams, Digicontent’s wholly owned subsidiary, has approved a buy-back of 29.27 lakh shares at ₹87.68 each. This represents 25% of its equity capital.

HT Digital Streams Limited (HTDS), a material unlisted wholly owned subsidiary of Digicontent Limited (a division of HT Media), has approved a proposal to buy back up to 29,26,820 fully paid-up equity shares.

The buy-back price has been fixed at ₹87.68 per share. The shares have a face value of ₹10 each and the proposed buy-back represents 25% of HTDS’ total equity share capital.

On 28 September, the Digicontent share price closed at ₹23.37 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), down 2.22%.

The HTDS board approved the buy-back on 28 September 2026. At the proposed price, the transaction involves shares worth about ₹25.66 crore.

The buy-back will not alter the shareholding pattern of HTDS. The company will continue to remain a wholly owned subsidiary of HT Media.

Separately, Digicontent said its trading window for dealing in the company’s equity shares will remain closed from 30 September 2026.

The closure will continue until 48 hours after the company declares its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ending 30 September 2026 to the stock exchanges.

The date of the board meeting for approval of these results will be announced separately. Designated persons and their immediate relatives have been informed not to trade in Digi Content and HT Media shares during the closure period.
