Groww Expects To Maintain Its Revenue Growth Target
Despite a temporary slowdown in its derivatives business, the company expects to sustain annual revenue growth of 25-30% over the long term. The slowdown followed regulatory changes affecting equity derivatives trading.
Billionbrains Garage's Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) said equity derivatives volumes could recover as the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) consultation process advances. He also pointed to growth in other business segments and healthy initial public offering (IPO) activity as potential support for overall performance.
Derivatives Activity And IPO Income: Key Business Drivers
The sequential downturn in the July-September 2026 quarter was mostly centred on equities derivatives after cash-equivalent regulations took effect on 01 August 2026. Management said the business would have recorded quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth without the impact of these changes.
Trading activity improved in September compared with August, although the October trend was not yet clear.
Market volatility also influences trading volumes and business performance. More than 30 public issues during the September quarter supported a rise in other operating income. Management expects income from the IPO to remain strong in the current quarter. This outlook comes amid several public issues scheduled for November 2026.
