FII, Retail Holdings Rise in 10 Stocks; Lenskart, PVR Inox, MCX Among Top Gainers

Lenskart saw foreign investor ownership jump to 12.76% in the June quarter from 4.26% in March, while MCX's FII stake climbed to 29.85%. Aether Industries, Lodha Developers, Meesho and Gland Pharma also recorded higher foreign and retail participation.
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) and retail investors increased their holdings in 78 BSE 500 companies during the June 2026 quarter compared with March, with 10 of those stocks subsequently delivering double-digit gains over the next three months. Lenskart Solutions, PVR Inox, Aether Industries, Syrma SGS Technology, Gland Pharma and MCX were among the stocks where both investor groups raised their stakes, according to an analysis of ACE Equity data cited by The Economic Times.
Lenskart Solutions led the gains, rising about 34% over the three-month period, followed by PVR Inox at 26%. Aether Industries and Syrma SGS Technology gained 23% each, while Gland Pharma and Lodha Developers advanced 16%. Devyani International and Meesho rose 14% each, Godrej Agrovet and Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) gained 13% each, while Anthem Biosciences advanced 11%.
The change in shareholding was particularly sharp in Lenskart, where FII ownership jumped to 12.76% in June from 4.26% in March. MCX saw FII holding rise to 29.85% from 26.07%, while Lodha Developers recorded an increase to 23.65% from 21.24%. Retail holdings also increased in all 10 stocks during the June quarter.
FII Holding Jumps in Lenskart, MCX
Lenskart recorded the biggest increase in foreign ownership among the stocks on the list. FII holding rose 8.5 percentage points to 12.76% in the June quarter from 4.26% in March, while retail ownership increased to 0.77% from 0.56%. The stock subsequently gained about 34% over the three-month period.
MCX also saw a sizeable increase in institutional ownership. FII holding climbed to 29.85% from 26.07%, while the retail stake increased to 15.19% from 14.50%. The stock gained about 13% over the subsequent three months.
In Lodha Developers, foreign institutional ownership increased to 23.65% from 21.24%, while retail holding moved up to 1.47% from 1.16%. Shares gained around 16% during the period.
Aether Industries saw FII holding rise to 7.42% from 6.29%, accompanied by an increase in retail ownership to 4.16% from 3.82%. The stock was among the stronger performers on the list with a 23% gain.
PVR Inox, Gland Pharma, Meesho Also See Higher Holdings
PVR Inox gained about 26% over the three-month period as FII ownership increased to 18.08% in June from 17.86% in March. Retail investors also raised their holding to 13.78% from 13.60%.
Foreign ownership in Gland Pharma climbed to 8.74% from 7.29%, while the retail stake increased to 2.89% from 1.93%. The stock gained about 16% over the period.
Meesho recorded an increase in FII ownership to 5.19% from 4.17%, while retail holding rose to 1.88% from 1.24%. The stock advanced about 14%.
Syrma SGS Technology, Devyani International, Godrej Agrovet and Anthem Biosciences completed the group of 10 stocks that saw both FII and retail holdings increase during the June quarter and subsequently delivered double-digit gains.
The shareholding data compares holdings at the end of the March and June 2026 quarters, while the stock-price performance covers the subsequent three-month period. The increase in holdings and later share-price gains are separate data points and do not establish that the ownership changes caused the stocks to rise.
