Emcure Pharmaceuticals Q1 FY 2026-27 Results: Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, on Thursday, August 6, with consolidated net profit rising 42% year-on-year to ₹294 crore, supported by strong growth in its international business and margin expansion.

The company's net profit increased from ₹207 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. On a sequential basis, net profit rose 21% from ₹243 crore in the March quarter.

Revenue from operations grew 22.8% year-on-year to ₹2,580.4 crore from ₹2,100.5 crore in the year-ago period.

At the operating level, EBITDA increased 27.8% to ₹532.5 crore from ₹416.8 crore a year earlier, while EBITDA margin expanded to 20.63% from 19.84%.

Profit before tax rose 35.3% year-on-year to ₹393.5 crore, while the effective tax rate stood at 25.7% during the quarter.

The domestic business reported revenue of ₹1,095.3 crore, up 10.2% year-on-year, led by growth in the company's central nervous system, cardiology and women's health portfolios, along with improved execution at Zuventus Healthcare.

International revenue increased 34.2% year-on-year to ₹1,485.1 crore and contributed 57.6% of consolidated revenue during the quarter.

Within the international business, Europe revenue rose 32.8% to ₹536.7 crore, Canada grew 24.6% to ₹426.6 crore, while the Rest of the World business increased 44.8% to ₹521.8 crore, supported by new product launches and favourable currency movements.

The company invested ₹90.4 crore in research and development during the quarter, equivalent to 3.5% of revenue, and ended the quarter with net debt of ₹1,102.6 crore.

Commenting on the results, Managing Director and CEO Satish Mehta said the company had started FY27, the second year of its five-year plan, on a strong footing, with momentum across geographies supporting growth. He added that productivity gains and operating leverage helped improve profitability, with the faster growth in profit reflecting the strength of the company's operating performance.

Separately, Emcure said Chairman Berjis Desai will retire following the upcoming annual general meeting after his appointment to the National Commission for Minorities. Satish Mehta will assume the role of Chairman after the AGM, while Whole-time Director Samit Mehta has been appointed Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect.

Shares of Emcure Pharmaceuticals traded lower on Thursday following the earnings announcement. The stock was trading at ₹1,933.70, down 1.3%, after touching an intraday low of ₹1,912.90 compared with the previous close of ₹1,959.

Despite Thursday's decline, the stock has gained more than 34% over the past one year and is up 38% so far in 2026. It has risen 4.4% over the past one month and was up 0.2% over the last five trading sessions.
