BSE Q1 FY 2026-27 Results: Net Profit Jumps 66% To ₹873 Crore

BSE Q1 Results FY 2026-27: BSE's consolidated revenue rose 63% year-on-year and reached ₹1,707 crore. PAT increased 66% year-on-year to ₹873 crore due to higher trading volumes across segments.
Bombay Stock Exchange’s (BSE's) consolidated revenue increased 63% year-on-year to ₹1,707 crore. Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 67% to ₹1,187 crore, while net profit from continuing operations climbed 66% to ₹873 crore. Net margin improved to 51% during the quarter.
On a standalone basis, revenue grew to ₹1,601 crore and net profit rose to ₹801 crore. The exchange also reported higher earnings per share and an increase in consolidated net worth during the quarter.
BSE Q1 FY27 Results: Performance Highlights
On a consolidated basis, the net margin reached 51%, earnings per share (EPS) was ₹21.22, and the net worth increased to ₹7,546.8 crore. In the standalone result, total revenue stood at ₹1,601.4 crore, while net profit came in at ₹801.2 crore, taking the standalone net margin to 50%.
The exchange also maintained healthy operating profitability during the quarter. Standalone EBITDA stood at ₹1,109.1 crore and the consolidated EBITDA was ₹1,186.7 crore.
Trading activity remained strong across BSE's core businesses. The equity cash segment recorded an average daily turnover (ADTV) of ₹9,955.3 crore, while transaction charge income from the segment rose to ₹65.4 crore. In the equity derivatives segment, average daily premium turnover increased to ₹29,615.4 crore, with average daily notional turnover touching ₹237 lakh crore. Average daily traded volume also rose to 15.6 crore lots, while revenue from the segment stood at ₹1,155 crore.
Primary market activity also remained healthy during the quarter. Funds mobilised through BSE reached ₹6.24 lakh crore, while the market capitalisation of companies listed on the exchange stood at US$5.01 trillion. The BSE StAR Mutual Fund platform processed 23.44 crore orders worth ₹2.96 lakh crore, generated ₹73.3 crore in revenue and was supported by a network of 84,150 distributors across 721 cities and towns.

At the close of trading on 4 August 2026, BSE’s share price was ₹3,618.0 on the National Stock Exchange, a gain of 1.2%.
